Geopolitics (from Greek γη ge "earth/land" and πολιτική politikē "politics") is the study of the effects of geography (both human and physical) on international politics and international relations
German Geopolitik is characterized by the belief that life of States—being similar to those of human beings and animals.
Friedrich Ratzel
Friedrich Ratzel (1844–1904), influenced by thinkers such as Darwin and zoologist Ernst Heinrich Haeckel, contributed to 'Geopolitik' by the expansion on the biological conception of geography, without a static conception of borders. Suggesting that states are organic and growing, with borders representing only a temporary stop in their movement, he held that the expanse of a state's borders is a reflection of the health of the nation—meaning that static countries are in decline.
Geopolitics in its simplest sense is a branch of Political Geography shedding lights upon the impacts of politics on the Geographical elements (natural, human and economic factors) – Comprehensive National power  of the State and of which the Social parameter is a coordinated chain in the social entity.
It signifies the capability of the State in expanding to wherever it can with no regard to borders, to what points could Geographies of the countries be altered by the political decisions,

Political geography is a branch of human geography (the branch of geography concerned with understanding the world's culture and how it relates to geographic space), it often studies local and national elections, international relationships and the political structure of different areas based on geography.
The development of political geography began with the growth of human geography as a separate geographic discipline from physical geography. Early human geographers often studied a nation or specific location's political development based on physical landscape attributes. In many areas, the landscape was thought to either help or hinder the economic and political success and therefore the development of nations. One of the earliest geographers to study this relationship was Friedrich Ratzel. In 1897, his book, Politische Geographie, examined the idea that nations grew politically and geographically when their cultures also expanded and that nations needed to continue to grow so that their cultures would have sufficient room to develop.
Both Ratzel and Mackinder's theories remained important before and during World War II. By the time of the Cold War, their theories and the importance of political geography began to decline and other fields within human geography began to develop. In the late 1970s however, political geography again began to grow. Today political geography is considered one of the most important branches of human geography and many geographers study a variety of fields concerned with political processes and geography.

To sum up this, the Geopolitics deals with the effects of politics of Geography whereas political Geography is the study of influences of geographical elements / parameters (static and dynamic) or (natural, human and economic factors) – Comprehensive National power on the individuals’ political behavior.
Political Geography, Geopolitics, strategic studies and other social sciences are social or scientific perspectives focus on the society from various and particular viewpoint, each of which has its own area of interest, subject matter and methodology overlapping upon the same ultimate goal – public social welfare and interest, it is not always rational and possible to look at one social parameter in isolation- they are always interconnected together.
