Within the framework of activating the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the Sudanese police and the Canadian police,Mr.lieutenant General police Dr.Osman Mohammed younis,deputy director general-inspector general,met in his office,the visiting Canadian delegation.He welcomed the delegation,and thanked them for the visit,and appreciated the role of Canadian police,in seeking to build the capacity of Sudanese police,conveying the greetings of the director general and the minister of interior,and their interest in the delegation's visit.
On the other hand,Mr.Ryan,head of the delegation,talked about the purpose of the visit and that it comes within the framework of activating the joint cooperation between the Canadian police and the Sudanese police in the field of capacity building,and exchange of experiences.The deputy Director General of police forces-Inspector General confirmed that sudan welcomes this cooperation and directed the police training authority to develop distinctive training programs according to the training needs of the Sudanese police to cope with the security changes in the country,and the cooperation in the field of training and exchange of experiences shall be activated by signing an agreement or memorandum of understanding between the two sides.the delegation welcomed this idea and thanked his excellency for this fruitful meeting.
