Hamdok: State will not Hesitate in Taking Decisive Decisions
The Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, stressed that his government will not hesitate in taking decisive decisions and strictly implementing them, and in the same time it will not take measures as a matter of revenge and will not allow entry of injustice into the country's once again.In his address Wednesday at the Friendship Hall to the Sudanese people on the occasion of December Revolution anniversary, Dr. Hamdok has pointed to heavy legacy of challenges created by the ousted regime that have changed the Sudanese state into a small land for a little group of networks that have practiced corruption, hegemony and tyranny for their own interest.
He affirmed that the government goal is to dismantle the one-party state and to build the nation state, noting that the law to dismantle the state of the 30th of June is an important step for the rule of law, accountability, the building of institutions and absorbing qualified qualifications through a policy of equal opportunities for all Sudanese.He reviewed the most important stages of the transitional period, which were the formation of the Sovereign Council, both military and civilian, the appointment of the Council of Ministers and the Attorney General, noting that consultations are being held regarding the appointment of the governors of states and formation of the Legislative Assembly and institutions of the federal government.He pointed out that we are celebrating the first anniversary of the revolution and the anniversary of the Independence this year when we are restoring the tradition of our people that this day is a holiday for all the Sudanese people.
