THE GOVERNOR OF KHARTOUM STATE AND THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE FORCES INSPECT THE POLICE FOCAL POINTS OF THE STATE
The Lt.Gen Chief of staff Ahmed Abdoun Hammad,the governor of Khartoum state,accompanied by first Lt.Gen police (jurist) Adel Mohamed Ahmed Basher,the director general of police forces,and the Lt,Gen.police Ezzeldin Al-sheikh,director of Khartoum state police,inspected the posts of police forces working in the enforcement of the curfew,in the three cities of Khartoum state,Khartoum,Khartoum north,and Omdurman.
Major General police (jurist)Dr.Omar Abdul-majid bashir,Director of general department of information and public relations,the official spokesman for the police forces,said that the inspection visit of the governor of the state and the director general of police forces,and the accompanying delegation which continued until the early hours of this morning,aimed at examining the readiness of those forces and their implementation of the medical emergency law to preserve the lives of citizens and protect them from the corona epidemic.praising the response of citizens,and their interaction with the precautionary measures,targeting the safety of homeland and the citizens.
Major Gen.Omar explained that the curfew aims to enforce the directives of ministry of health and the supreme national committee to stave off the effects of the corona epidemic,calling for taking all measures that contribute to prevent the spread of the epidemic,noting that the partial ban is for health rather than security reasons,besides issuing permits for professions that require work during the embargo,from the central military area and the local police headquarters,revealing the discovery of cases in violation of the ban orders that were dealt with according to the law,stressing not to be lenient with all cases of violation.
Major Gen.Omar,confirmed the readiness and ability of the police forces to enforce laws and deal with emergency cases,through police deployment in the localities of the state,indicating that the police forces,will continue their deployment in local points and implement the curfew until a decision is issued to lift the medical emergency,as well as providing services through the criminal departments and the toll-free number (999).
