Third: Cases on Fire Arms and Ammunition
• On 7/5/2010 a search was made to a suspected location for making explosives on the ground floor of the building of Al-Fadeela for Islamic Dress at Al-Sababi area in Khartoum North. A total of 12 jerry cans of blue color + 3 barrels of Sodium + 3 glass containers full of powder + sulfur salt + a gas canister + Nitric acid + a wooden box containing X-ray films + a non-functioning communication equipment + small dry cell batteries + Hydrochloric acid + other items. The owner of the place was detained (Ethiopian). He was brought to the branch and a case was open against him.
• On 11/7/2010 at Souq Libya Police Station a suspect of 28 years, of Tai’ysha tribe living at Al-Hara 16/A Um Badda was detained. He has a total of 183 pistols of various shapes and types + 1,868 bullets. From investigations it was revealed that the suspect trades in fire arms and uses his house as a store for that. A police case was open against him under the article No. 26/18 Fire Arms and ammunition.
• On 15/7/2010 a suspect was detected with 17 pairs of tiger skin shoes + 3 skins of tiger + 21 rabbit skins + 6 various pistol types + 200 pullets of Kilanshinkov + 16 Garanov ammunition + a quantity of various types of ammunition. This was at Abu Zaid market. A police case was open against him under articles 18/26 Fire Arms and Ammunition + article 36 Wild Life.
• On 14/7/2010 at East Khartoum Police Station, a suspect was caught plus two others with a number of IDs of SPLM of Lt. and First Lt. ranks besides 2 Kilshinkov guns + significant amount of pullets + 3 Kilashinkov pullet cases + 90 bullets of Kilashinkov + 3 grenade bombs + 41 forged notes of $100. In searching the first suspect’s home, a total of 15 Armed Force uniforms and a quantity of army supplies were found in addition to signs of officers’ ranks (Colonel + Major) and a stamp in the name of SPLM. One RPG + AS08/A30 and two pieces of ammunition for it + 1 Kilashinkov and a quantity of ammunition. It was found out that the suspect is wanted in a number of opened cases. A police case was opened under many articles of the Penal Code.
