1. Golden jewelry:
•    On 30 May 2010 two suspects were caught and exhibitions of a case under articles 174 of the Penal Code (PC) were returned. The case was opened at Alyarmouk Police Station in Jabel Awleya Locality for a quantity of golden artworks + a Suzuki motorcycle. The value of repossessed items is 41,250 SDGs.
•    On 24/6/2010 a suspect was caught inside the gold market complex while selling a quantity of gold weighing 155 grams with a total value of 14,000 SDGs. Upon investigation with him, he confessed that he stole it from a house in Elhaj Yousif. He led to another person, a gold merchant at Saad Gishraa market who bought from him a gold quantity of 2,000 SDGs value. A case was opened under article No. 174 of Penal Code at Kuku Police Station.
•    On 23/7/2010 at South Omdurman Police Station a suspect was caught with exhibits of a case under article 174 of Penal Code. These were golden artworks with a total value of 35,000 SDGs.
•    On 24/10/2010 through Bahri branch a suspect was detected for a case under article 174 of PC which was opened on 21/10/2010 at Al-Safia Police Station for the theft of golden artworks of 200,000 SDGs value. The suspect was shown to the house maid (from Philippine) who identified him as the thief.  Investigation continues.
•    On 9/11/2010 at Central Omdurman Police Station a team from CID detected a female suspect and returned exhibits of a case under article 174 PC. These were golden artworks of a total value of 19,000 SDGs.
•    On 21/11/2010 at Alsalam Police Station 2 suspects with golden artworks of 20,636 SDGs value were detected at Alsouq Alshaabi. A case under procedural law was opened. Upon investigation, they confessed that they stole these from Hai Al-Thora in Shandi town. Communications were made and it was confirmed that a case was opened under the same specifications of the detected gold. The documents and suspects were transferred to the relevant authority as directed by the prosecution.

2.    Theft and armed robbery:
•    On 3/1/2010 a perpetual criminal was caught on a case under article 178 of PC at Libya market (steeling of 295,000 SDGs from the Agricultural Bank). He directed to another suspect who works at the bank (a trainee) with whom an amount of 98,000 SDGs was found. He confessed that he bought a piece of land + a mobile phone + a rickshaw for 55,000 SDGs.
•    On 8/7/2010 a team of CID at Omdurman Market Police Station was able to detect 3 perpetual criminals with exhibits of a case under article No. 174 PC which are 19,150 SDGs + ID card + 2 authorizations for sale of two land plots.
•    On 8/7/2010 at Al-Azhari Police Station a CID team was able to detect 7 suspects working at Al-Hadaf company who possessed a quantity of cables with no copper + 8 empty cable rolls + 8 sacks with copper of 18,000 SDGs value that belong to Zain Communications Company. These were of a case under article 174 and they confessed that they stole from the company’s warehouse at Sq 19 in Al-Azhari during their night shift.
•    On 11/7/2010 at East Khartoum Police Station and following up a case under article 174 PC opened on 9/7/2010, Ethiopian female suspects (house maids) were detected as they fled away to Al-Galabat town through the Land Port after the incident. Stolen property including golden artworks + female supplies with a total value of 70,000 SDGs. This was coordinated with Gedaref State Police.
•    On 16/8/2010 a team of CID from Khartoum branch detected the suspects of a case under 175 PC (armed robbery with pouring sulfuric acid on face and making the case opener get out of his ‘Amjad’ vehicle after robbing a quantity of money from him. Three suspects were caught among whom was an Ethiopian lady and a regular thief of cars. The vehicle was brought back but many parts of it were taken away.
•    On  16/9/2010 a suspect was detected on a case under 174 PC pertaining to the theft of a cash amount of 70,000 SDGs +$500+200 SRs + 3 pistols Tariq + a Chinese made pistol + a pistol of 6 mm caliber from the police housing area at Abu Si’id. Upon searching the suspect’s home, the stolen amount was found and he directed to the rest of the stolen property.
•    On 21/10/2010 at Central Bahri police station, a CID team was able to detect 3 suspects and returning exhibits of a case under 174 PC which are a total o 50,000 SDGs cash amount.
•    On 26/10/2010 a gang specialized in steeling 4X4 vehicles (Land Cruiser) was detected. They were 9 in total and are facing accusations in 10 cases opened at different police stations. They used to transport the stolen vehicles to the Southern States after changing their features. They confessed that they committed the crimes. A special court was organized for their trial in coordination with the Ministry of Justice.
•    On 27/11/2010 at Alreyad Police station, a team of CID was able to detect two suspects, a male and a female, at Kassala under a case of 174 PC at Eastern Khartoum Police Station. It was on steeling two vehicles, a Toyota Pickup and a Land Cruiser Prado where they anesthetize their victims. A total of 17,000 SDGs was found with them which is part of the exhibits of the case and two others suspects were caught for receiving stolen money.
•    A case under 174/142 PC at Al-Halfaya Police Station pertaining to the theft of a safe from the Chinese company Hoi Ming was revealed. The safe contained $12,000 + 8,000 SDGs. A suspect was detected and he pointed out to 5 suspects who were caught and the safe was found broken at the house of one of them. The all gave a confession.

3.    Counterfeiting:
•    On 18/1/2010 two suspects with 3,700 of counterfeited SDGs notes were detected. A case under article 117 of PC was opened against them at Northern Khartoum police station. They confessed their dealing with counterfeited currency.
•    On 10/1/2010 two suspected with counterfeited 4.500 SDGs + a scanner/printer + printing cartridges were detected. A case under articles 117/119 PC was opened against them.
•    On 3/6/2010 a suspected was detected with 101 counterfeited US Dollars + 11 black paper of a currency shape + a bottle + a stamp belonging to the General Directorate for Popular and Community Police + 98 bullets + 3 pullet cases of Kilashinkov + A Wilsor pistol. A police case was opened under articles 117 PC and 26 Fire Arms.
•    On 15/6/2010 a suspect was detected with 2 currency printers + 7,650 SDGs of 50 SDGs notes + stamps + ink cartridges + paper rims + 5 ink containers + counterfeiting and other equipment. This was at Al-Hara 27 in Um badda. A case was opened against him at Community Security Station in Al-Mugran under article 117 of PC.
•     On 25/3/2010 two suspects were caught possessing two scanners + forging equipment + paper prepared for forging + a cash of 5,030 SDGs of counterfeit notes. A case under article 117 PC was opened at Jabra Police station in Khartoum.
•    On 9/4/2010 Khartoum Branch was able to detect 3 foreigners with a printer + money forging equipment. A case was opened against them under article 44 Procedural at Al-Daraja Al-Awla Police Station.
•    On 10/4/2010 Omdurman Branch was able to detect a suspect with 80,000 SDGs of 50 SDGs forged notes. A case was opened under 117/21 of PC at State Security Prosecution.
•    On 2/10/2010 at Hai Alnasr police station, a team of CID detected 6 suspects with a parcel containing 45 rims of paper painted with a black substance and cut in the size of currency notes + a $100 forged note + 2 bottles of a liquid + a quantity of cotton. A case was opened under articles 21/117/178 of PC.
•     On 3/10/2010 at Hai Alnasr station, the team of CID was able to detect 2 suspects with a Laptop computer + a flash disk used for forging currency + a computer set + color printer + a small briefcase with a number of CDs + 8 samples for making $100 notes + mail stamps sheets + a Sudanese Pound prepared for forging + a number of small bottles with chemical substances + a catalog + 2 Nigerian passports. A case was opened under articles 21/117/178 of PC.
•    On 7/10/2010 through the Khartoum branch 3 foreign suspects were detected with 6 forged notes of $100 + 2 rims of black paper + 3 kg of powder + a machine used in forging currency + 20 small bottles of various ink type + a number of adhesive tapes and scissors + 2 fiber cans for designs for the machine + a forged Sudanese nationality card + 2 Chadian passports + a number of ID cards and documents. A case was opened against them under the articles 21/117/123 of PC at Al-Azhari police station.
•    On 10/10/2010 the police detected a gang formed by 2 Chadians and a one Cameroonians. In searching their home 20 rims of black paper were found + 2 machines for currency printing + a complete set of forging equipment + 60 notes of forged $100 notes. A case was opened against them at Al-Azhari police station under the articles 21/117/123 PC.
•    On 26/10/2010, at Alkalakla police station, a team of CD detected 8 female and male suspects possessing 77 rolls of white paper + 3 small bottles of solid and powder substances + 7 printers + a quantity of white paper + a photographic camera + + 3 rolls of black paper + a plastic bag containing powder. A case was opened against them under the article 117 of PC.
•    On 6/11/2010 Al-Hatana police station, Karari and a police ‘ ’ from the Locality CID reported the detection of 2 suspect who possessed 2 money forging machines + 3 rims of paper + one CD + 2 cutters + 2 rulers + 3 syringes containing colored inks + 4,110 counterfeited Sudanese Pounds of various notes.  The detection took place at Al-Hara 60 in Al-Thora area. A case under articles 117/119 of PC was opened against the suspects.
